in-form cricket

SEG is pleased to introduce the in-form cricket coaching service. Based on methodologies that have made players such as Michael Clarke, current Australian one-day player and test player, a success, in-form Cricket offers a range of programs to suit the emerging talented player.

Programs are tailored to suit the individual and can be conducted as part of a small talent squad or in the form of private sessions. All programs are conducted over a number of weeks to ensure maximum benefit for the player.

Talented Athletes put through their paces

Warren Smith demonstrates a sweep shot to the lads

The Northern Districts Cricket Academy’s Talented Athletes Program for 2005/6 concludes next week with 15 talented players from the district having undergone a development program over the entire season. The lads began in August and have worked on technique, fitness and mental skills with a range of experienced coaches at ND’s home base, Waitara Oval.

SEG is delighted to be working with the Northern Districts Cricket Academy in support of Women's Cricket. Taryn Keir, Women's Coaching Coordinator at Northern Districts, is working with SEG staff to prepare development programs for young girls and women in the district who want to start playing cricket or who want to develop their abilities via a structured coaching program. We will be looking to launch a range of girls and women's programs early in 2006 so keep an eye on this site for developments.
