The SEG Cricket Mentor Program is a thirty week program beginning in the preseason and continuing for the season duration. It is our belief this program offers a range of benefits in comparison to traditional coaching models:

  • Computer analysis of batting and bowling techniques
  • Expert feedback from SEG Elite coaches
  • Regular 'review' sessions keeping the player on track for the season and ensuring more consistent performance
  • Unique five week rotational system providing variety for the players involved in the program
  • A player manual containing a series of worksheets and activities desired to increase the players awareness of their own games strengths and weaknesses

Program Details

Using state of the art video capture technology the batting and bowling techniques of the players will be digitally recorded and analysed using the Dartfish computer software. This provides immediate feedback to the players highlighting technical strengths and weaknesses along with the areas in which the player can improve. Players will be provided with a CD of their performance allowing them to review the footage at a later date.

The SEG Cricket Mentor program is supported by a comprehensive player manual to be completed by players. This manual contains a range of worksheets and activities the players are required to complete over the course of the season.
