Neil D’Costa

Neil is a former Sydney First Grade player who has found his niche as a coach of emerging talented players. Neil has mentored and coached Michael Clarke for many years and currently acts as Michael’s coach and Manager. Neil is currently coaching several Cricket NSW identified talented players.

Neil has been a Level 2 Cricket coach for more than 12 years and has a vast experience of playing and coaching. Neil coached Western Suburbs (First Grade Minor Premiership 95/96), then Northern District Club for three years (winning a Club Championship). Neil is currently back coaching the Western Suburbs Magpies in the Sydney Grade Competition. He has just completed year one of a three year plan and he and his team are once again transforming the way Wests approach their cricket

As National Cricket Operations Manager for SEG, Neil plays a key role in designing and delivering the in-form Cricket programs based on methodologies he has refined over many years with players like Michael.
