After 118 appearances for the Socceroos, Paul Wade has experienced many challenges in his career. One of which is facing life with Epiliepsy.

Description of packages

Package 1

1. KEYNOTE ADDRESS (students 10-18 years)     

The keynote address (or My Life in Football) is based around my experiences with the Socceroos. The stories are not about Football itself. They are the vehicle I will use to address these options;
Leadership, Decision Making, Goal Setting or Motivation & Life’s little challenges (I live with Epilepsy).

I use Football shirts from all over the world acquired while making 118 appearances for the Socceroos to paint the pictures. I believe a picture paints a thousand words & as a result I show DVD vision of the World Cup ’06. With the help of Power point it’s hopefully an informed & entertaining presentation.
Session time will run to suit with a maximum time of 60 minutes including questions.
To be cost effective I would like to deliver this “keynote address” to all the students in one session (e.g. Primary yrs 4–6 & Secondary yrs 7–12 etc).

2. SPORTS CLINIC (FREE TO students 6-12 years)

A Maximum 3 free sports clinics are designed for classes of 30 for 45 minutes each. It’s designed to deliver “Maximum Fun, Maximum Participation”.

Expenses maybe added to programmes outside Sydney Metro area.

Package 2

2. TEACHER IN-SERVICE   

I’d also like to address the teachers in a practical session.
I promise I “won’t kill them”.
Again it is based on “Maximum Fun, Maximum Participation”. It’ll contain the methodology that can be applied to deliver any sport education for any age.
This session will provide teachers with a number of various minor games that are fun, simple and develop skills.

A manual will be supplied for future reference. 

3. SPORTS CLINICS (FREE to students 6-12 years)

Professional Conferences

The keynote address (or My Life in Football) is based around my experiences in Football. These stories are as much about life as they are about Football itself. They are the vehicle I will use to hopefully inspire & motivate people to be better today than they were yesterday. This visual address will use Football shirts from the world over. It's the ingredients by which a scrawny kid from Melbourne who didn't play representative football until he was 23, discovered Epilepsy, but eventually played against the greatest player ever to play the game; Diego Maradona.

* For the careers advisors the stories will address all of the above
   plus the transition back into the work force.

DVD facilities including sound will be required. Vision of the 2006 World Cup will make hair of any color stand on end. In all, you get an informed & entertaining presentation.
